    Biography

    U. Ruth Charrondiere holds a PhD in nutrition. Her main focus is on food composition, biodiversity, sustainable diets as well as dietary and exposure assessment. She contributed to capacity development in food composition, especially through the development of the ‘Food Composition Study Guide’, a distance-learning tool, the FAO/INFOODS e-Learning Course on Food Composition Data and of the ‘Compilation Tool’, a simple food composition database management system in Excel. Since 2011, she is the coordinator of INFOODS (International Network of Food Data Systems). She has over 140 scientific and technical publications.
